Please read on to find out about the long history of Quakers and how they have impacted history, though remaining a relatively small group.

As we are a small worship group of 12 or so members and attenders on a Sunday morning (with a larger email list), we need a little help from our Friends. Mountain View is "under the umbrella of" Multnomah Monthly Meeting of Friends in Portland, Oregon. We receive their support in many practical, spiritual, and community-based ways. We are both part of North Pacific Yearly Meeting of Friends which meets annually in the Northwest.
Our group first started meeting in one another's homes back in the late 1970's. We have always taken in a large geographic area from Hood River/White Salmon, Trout Lake, Goldendale, Maupin, and isolated Friends in other areas. For a number of years we shared the Frankton School Building in Hood River with the Unitarians and had a combined children's program to great success. Since that time and for about 30 years, we have met gratefully in the former Episcopal Diocese Office in the St. Paul's Chapel. We appreciate the kindness of the Episcopal community very much.
